OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Police Sunday identified a woman who died after being shot with a Taser weapon as 35-year-old Milisha Thompson. Police Lieutenant Don Holland says Thompson scuffled with police who were called to the Oklahoma City Rescue Mission about 5:20 Saturday night to a report of drug dealing.
He says the woman assaulted the officers and a struggle ensued before she was handcuffed.
After being handcuffed for several minutes, officers noticed Thompson was unresponsive and began to administer CPR.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
