Four Arrested In Drug Bust
A routine traffic stop in Broken Arrow overnight ends in a drug bust. Broken Arrow Police say the suspects pulled into a gas station near 71st and Lynn Lane early Friday morning. That is when the driver jumped out and ran off on foot. That suspect was quickly chased down by Broken Arrow Police officers.
In addition, 3 passengers were arrested for possession of controlled pharmaceuticals, including Xanax, and 2 of the suspects had outstanding warrants.
Driver Arrested After Traffic Accident
A woman is arrested by Tulsa Police after a "hit and run" accident overnight. Tulsa Police say the driver of a Ford Mustang was eastbound on Archer when a Ford Explorer collided with the car at Denver early Friday. The driver of the SUV drove off, but was followed by an off-duty police officer who called for help. The driver, a woman was arrested a couple of miles away.
No one in the Mustang was injured in the accident.
Stolen Vehicle Recovered After Accident
Tulsa Police say officers responded to an accident at Pine and Lewis early Friday morning. A Honda Accord had hit a building near the intersection. Police say the driver of the Honda ran off and has not been found.
It turns out the Honda was stolen.
